Io amo Napoli é I Napolitani

We are planning a trip to Napoli and if it's cheap and well organised, we will go there and have a good time! So, here we will post all the planning we have done about the trip we want to do.

THE JOURNEY
We have considered to go for 4 days, from 29th May to 2nd June.

OUTWARD JOURNEY

First of all, we will go to Loiu (airport), Bilbo. Then, the journey will set off at 9.00 so, we have to be there two hours earlier.

Secondly, after an hour in the plane, we will land in Barcelona and wait until our next plane gets in.

Finally, the plane from Barcelona will take off at 11.45 and arrive at Napoli at 13.40.

We hope there isn't any delay.

RETURN

First of all, we will go to the airport of Napoli. Then, the journey will set off at 14.20 so, we have to be there two hours earlier.

Secondly, after travelling more or less two hours, we will land in Barcelona and wait until our next plane gets in.

Finally, the plane from Barcelona will take off at 20.30 and arrive at Loiu,Bilbo at 21.40.

THE HOTEL 
The hotel we have chosen is called Hotel Bella Capri. It is quite close to the centre of Napoli. Because it is a school trip, we have chosen a cheap hotel which is economically affordable for us. There are lots of things available such as WiFi in our rooms, free breakfast, DVD and TV, etc.

Thursday

We will arrive at Napoli at 13:40 . After that, we will go to the hotel and leave the luggage there. Then, we will go to have lunch to the city centre and we will stay there for all the afternoon. We could also go to the old town and see some of the historical building, "piazzas" and important streets such as Maschio Angioino Castle, the Royal Palace of Naples, Capodimonte Palace, the Cathedral, Via Toledo, the Basilica of San Francisco de Paola in the Piazza Plebiscito, Via San Gregorio Armeno, etc. While we are doing this, we could buy some souvenirs for friends and family.

At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel and have dinner.

Friday

On friday morning we will go to the beach. Once there, we could also sunbathe and go swimming. We think that spending the morning in the beach would be a great idea.

Then, at lunch time, we will return to the hotel and have a shower. After that, we will go to the city centre to have lunch.

In the afternoon, we will stay in the city centre and we will see some of the buildings and "piazzas" that we couldn't see last day.

Saturday

On Saturday, we are going to spend all day visiting the city of Pompeya and the surroundings. Pompeya is divided into 4 parts taking into account the developmental stages of the city.

The red colour represents the Osca Foundation.

The blue colour the first expansion.

The green colour the second expansion.

The yellow colour the third expansion.

There are lots of prehistoric buildings to see, for instance, the Amphitheatre, the Temple of Jupiter, the Macellum, the Temple of Apollo, the Temple of Isis, the Big Theatre, etc.

Sunday

This is our last day in Napoli. In the morning we are going to prepare the luggage and leave everything ready.

After all this, we will go to the city centre for a walk and we will buy the last souvenirs if we want to.

Then, we will return to the hotel, take the luggage and go to the airport. As the plan takes off at 14.20 we have to be there two hours earlier. We will have lunch in the airport and after the whole journey we will arrive at Bilbo at 21.40.

Conclusion

To sum up, it has to be said that this trip that we have planned to Napoli would be quite cheap, so as to be affordable for students. However, that doesn't mean we will sleep in a seedy room or in bad conditions, because we have found a cheap but also a good hotel. If  we eventually go to Napoli we will certainly have a really good time!
